EOS Venture launches the first PSI-accredited equity crowdfunding platform in France built with open-source ERP5 and technologies from the French Systematic Cluster

Paris, June 17, 2015

Two months after its launch, EOS Venture is the only PSI ACPR-accredited equity crowdfunding platform in France. The system is built on the ERP/CRM modules of Nexedi's open source ERP5 and hosted on SlapOS's resilient software stack, which originated from collaborative research projects funded by the state of France, the Ile-de France region and communities within the Systematic Competitiveness Cluster.

Stéphane Lubiarz, President of EOS Venture, explains: "The infrastructure created by Nexedi for EOS Venture can already handle 2.500 investment transactions per hour while complying with all regulatory requirements including the existence of a technical recovery plan for three remote sites and complete traceability."

Thierry Brettnacher, vice president of Nexedi, adds: "Modelling the workflow of the investment process within ERP5 ensures the traceability at each stage of the process while also generating all accounting entries automatically. In this area EOS Venture greatly benefits from knowledge acquired on ERP5 implementations being used in three major financial institutions worldwide - including a central bank."

Cédric Le Ninivin, project manager at Nexedi, says: "The automation of the technical recovery process and the resilient deployment of the front-end allows us to eliminate the dependency on a single hosting provider which is a key to meet the Service Level Agreements of such an online financial service." He adds: "These automation capabilities have been partially developed in collaborative project funded by the Resilience Interministerial Fund and I am happy to see the project outcome playing a key part in such a sophisticated application."

Stéphane Lubiarz concludes: "EOS Venture supports the development of SMEs in the fast-growing crowdfunding market. Using letitseed.com, SMEs can raise funds of more than 1 million euros and focus on their product and marketing while all operations related to financing and regulatory compliance of crowdfunding transactions and shareholding are managed by EOS. Of course we also offer these services to other crowdfunding platforms."
