Parts List (MWDC-KIT-12)  

Please make sure contained these parts in MWDC-KIT-12 for MWDCES-191 installation into 19” rack: 

  • Angle L1 SS (Long) : 1pc
  • Angle L2 SS (Short) : 1pc
  • Angle R1 SS (Long) : 1pc
  • Angle R2 SS(Short) : 1pc
  • M5x 14 SEMS Screw P=3 : 24pc
  • M5 Flange Nut : 12pc 

Note: Before you go to the datacenter, please make sure you have all the screwdrivers (for removing the ESA Kit Power supply, etc. ) you need. And since the KIT does not include the front side nut for M5 screw, please prepare the screws and nuts for the rack.

Installation to applicable 19” Rack

MWDC-KIT-12 is able to realize flexible adapt to several type of Rack depth to adjust side rail connection by screw. ( Expected extending depth : 800 ～ 1000mm )
First of all, Set a pair of ②ANGLE L1 and ③ANGLE L2, ④ANGLE R1 and ⑤ANGLE R2 in suitable position of actual 19” rack.(Please refer to picture.) 

Applicable 19 inch Rack

  • STEP 1 : Check the length of ANGLEs of both side.
  • STEP 2 : Screw 6 points with ⑦M5x 14 SEMS SCREW and ⑥FLANGE-NUT.

Place ANGLEs into actual 19” rack with screw

Place each ANGLEs( For Right and Left side) in the 19” rack and screw each 2 points with M5 screw on the front side and rea side of the 19” rack.
[ Note: KIT does not include the front side nut for M5 screw. ]

Installation 19” 1 RU shelf (MWDCES-191 series) in the 19” rack

Slide 19” 1RU shelf(MWDCES-191) from Front to Rear side of 19” rack as shown.

Screw the center position of the both front side(Right and Left)

Insert a Power Supply Unit (PSU) into each Shelf slot

Please be sure to pay attention to the orientation of the PSU card edge Connector. Improper orientation can cause damage to the PSU or the Shelf or both. When inserting the PSU, be sure to keep the release lever open as shown in the following picture. If the lever is closed, the PSU will not be seated properly into the connector.

Insert the Remote Management Unit (RMU) MWOC-RMU-2 into RMU slot

Insert RMU with the lever top side until the lever latch completed as shown.

When it needs to remove RMU from the shelf, please keep blue lever right direction and pull the opposite metal lever.
